CATEGORIESReliable Stamping Projects Depend on Process Control
A stable metal stamping project involves much more than running parts through a press. Drawing revisions, tooling, material, forming sequence, secondary operations, inspection requirements, and repeat-order consistency all need to be managed together.
Hongming Sheng supports custom stamped metal parts according to customer drawings, specifications, and agreed production requirements.

Before tooling or production begins, the current drawing and project requirements should be clearly understood.
Tooling should be selected according to part geometry, material behavior, forming complexity, and production requirements.
For new projects, sample-stage review can help confirm dimensions, formed features, assembly interfaces, and other project-specific requirements before repeat production.
Production and inspection should follow the approved project requirements rather than relying on generic quality claims.
For repeat orders, the approved drawing, tooling condition, processing requirements, and inspection criteria should remain aligned with the customer’s current project information.
| Blanking & PiercingFlat parts, holes, openings, profiles, tabs, and other cut features. | Bending & FormingBrackets, clips, supports, covers, and formed sheet components. |
| Progressive StampingMultiple operations can be arranged in sequence for suitable repeat-production parts. | Deep DrawingDrawn features can be evaluated when part geometry and material are suitable. |
Many stamped parts are not complete after the press operation. The full manufacturing route may include additional processes.
| Clear Technical Communication Questions about drawings, tolerances, materials, or tooling should be raised before they become production issues. | Defined Requirements Critical dimensions and functional requirements should be agreed instead of relying on broad assumptions. |
| Change Management Drawing and process changes should be communicated before they are implemented. | Repeatability Repeat orders should reference the approved project requirements and current drawing revision. |
