Dedicated CNC Engineering Support

A Better CNC Quote Starts with a Better Drawing Review

Receive direct technical support for custom CNC-machined components—from RFQ clarification and process planning to prototype and batch-production review.

A 3D model shows the component geometry, but it may not identify every manufacturing requirement. Critical tolerances, threads, finishes, inspection standards and mating surfaces often need to be confirmed before an accurate quotation can be prepared.

Information That Helps Us Quote Accurately

1

Latest Drawing Revision

Provide the current STEP, IGES or other 3D file together with a PDF drawing when available.

2

Material Specification

Confirm the alloy, grade and temper, or advise whether an equivalent material may be reviewed.

3

Critical Dimensions

Identify dimensions that directly affect fit, sealing, motion, positioning or assembly.

4

Threads and Inserts

Specify thread standard, depth, quantity and any Helicoil, press-fit or threaded-insert requirements.

5

Surface Finish

Confirm anodizing, plating, passivation, polishing, sandblasting, powder coating or other finishing requirements.

6

Quantity and Delivery

Include prototype quantity, expected batch quantity and the required delivery schedule.

What Your Dedicated Engineer Can Review

Milling, turning and multi-axis process selection
Tool access and difficult-to-machine features
Thin walls, deep pockets and small internal radii
Critical tolerances and inspection methods
Threads, inserts and assembly interfaces
Material and surface-finish compatibility
Drawing revisions and quantity changes

Engineering review is intended to clarify manufacturing requirements and quotation assumptions. Any suggested design adjustment will be discussed with the customer before implementation.

How the CNC Quotation Process Works

Submit Your Contact Information

Use the mobile quote page to provide your name, company and contact details.

Email the Drawings

Our website currently does not support direct drawing uploads. Email the CAD files and requirements to info@hms1688.com.

Engineering Review

We review machining features and contact you if material, tolerance, finish or quantity information needs clarification.

Quotation Preparation

Pricing and lead time are prepared according to the confirmed technical requirements and production quantity.

Benefits of Direct Technical Communication

Clearer Pricing

Important machining requirements are considered before quotation.

Fewer Revisions

Early clarification reduces quotation changes caused by missing information.

Lower Project Risk

Critical features and inspection expectations are identified earlier.

Smoother Production

Confirmed details provide a clearer handover from quotation to manufacturing.

Machining Capability Note

Achievable tolerances, surface quality, lead time and machining method depend on component size, geometry, material, feature accessibility and inspection requirements. Final capability is confirmed after drawing review.

Recommended RFQ Information

For a more efficient review, please prepare:

  • STEP, IGES or other available 3D file
  • PDF or 2D drawing with critical tolerances
  • Material and surface-finish requirements
  • Prototype and estimated batch quantities
  • Inspection or certification requirements
  • Required delivery date

Confidential Drawing Review

Customer drawings, CAD files, quotations, samples and technical specifications are treated as confidential project information. NDA support is available for OEM and ODM projects.
