Is Stamping the Right Process?
Stamping is often considered when a part is made from sheet or coil and repeat quantities can support dedicated tooling.
- Geometry can be blanked, pierced, bent, drawn or coined
- Repeatability and production rate matter
- Material utilization can be planned around the strip layout
- Tooling investment can be balanced against forecast volume
Stamping is not automatically the lowest-cost route. For early prototypes or changing designs, laser cutting and bending may be more practical. We compare the route after reviewing geometry and quantity.
Applications We Support
Energy StorageBattery brackets, covers, supports and electrical hardware.
Power & ChargingContacts, terminals, shields and formed equipment parts.
AI & ElectronicsChassis brackets, clips, shields and connector components.
AutomationMounts, retainers, covers and repeat mechanical components.
AutomotiveBrackets and formed parts developed to drawing requirements.
Medical EquipmentEquipment components requiring defined edges and finishes.
Process Options
Progressive Stamping
Multiple cutting and forming stations operate in sequence, often for repeat production where volume supports the tool.
Single-Stage or Compound Dies
Useful for selected blanking, piercing or forming operations depending on part geometry and quantity.
Deep Drawing
Forms recessed or hollow shapes; material flow, corner radii, thinning and draw depth require review.
Materials & Secondary Work
- Materials: stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper and brass
- Operations: tapping, PEM insertion, welding, riveting and assembly
- Finishes: plating, anodizing, powder coating, brushing and polishing as specified
From RFQ to Production
Drawing Review
Confirm material, thickness, geometry, tolerances, finish and quantity.
Tooling & Process Plan
Review die route, forming sequence, secondary operations and inspection needs.
Sample Approval
Check dimensions, fit, appearance and agreed functional requirements.
Repeat Production
Manufacture against approved drawings, samples and inspection criteria.
