CNC Machining for Medical Devices — Cleanability, Repeatability, Traceability

We manufacture precision CNC parts for surgical instruments, diagnostics and lab equipment. From prototype to series builds, our focus is stable tolerances, cleanable geometries and clear documentation you can trust. Explore our CNC machining services.

Where Our Parts Are Used

  • ● Instrument handles, jaws, clamps, guides, pivots and shafts
  • ● Sensor/monitor housings, brackets, panels, connector shells
  • ● Sterile trays, positioning blocks, adapters and test fixtures
  • ● Pilot runs for EVT/DVT/PVT with rapid feedback cycles

What Makes Us Different

  • Repeatable accuracy: controlled processes across lots; critical features verified via CMM/vision.
  • Design-for-cleaning: deburred edges, smooth transitions, minimized dirt-trap features.
  • Surface integrity: fine finishing, electropolishing and passivation for easy cleaning and corrosion resistance.
  • Traceable paperwork: material certs (e.g., EN10204 3.1), inspection reports and batch IDs.

Materials & Finishes for Healthcare

  • 316L stainless steel: corrosion-resistant; compatible with steam and common chemicals; passivation available.
  • Titanium (e.g., Ti-6Al-4V): high strength-to-weight; excellent biocompatibility for instrument components.
  • Aluminum: lightweight fixtures/enclosures; anodizing for durability and cleanability.
  • Engineering polymers: PEEK/PEI for high-temp/chemical resistance in non-implant parts.
Finishing tip: Electropolishing reduces micro-burrs and lowers Ra to minimize residue build-up after cleaning.

Design-for-Cleaning Checklist

  • ● Rounded edges or consistent chamfers to improve wipe-down and handling safety.
  • ● Avoid deep, narrow slots and blind cavities; add drain/vent paths when necessary.
  • ● Limit micro steps and tight corners; standardize edge breaks for quick visual checks.
  • ● Reserve space for labels/UDI or batch marks when traceability is required.

Inspection & Document Pack

  • ● FAI/critical dimension report (CMM/vision; gauges where applicable)
  • ● Material and finishing records; optional RoHS/REACH declaration
  • ● Lot/batch labels aligned to your template for traceability

Lead-Time Ladder

  • Prototypes: fast turn with DFM notes
  • Pilot builds: short-run capacity with repeatable settings
  • Series production: locked parameters and sampling plans (AQL/Cpk by project)

How to Start

  1. Share drawings (STEP/PDF) and key specs.
  2. Receive quotation + DFM feedback.
  3. Approve prototype and inspection pack.
  4. Scale to pilot/series with consistent QA records.

NDA & Confidentiality

We respect intellectual property and confidentiality. NDAs are welcome; your designs, processes and specifications remain protected throughout the project.
